JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Clear Cambodia is a Christian local NGO that has been implementing the projects under the aim of water and sanitation. The current mission is to help rural Cambodian citizens sustainably improve their health through increased access to safe water, sanitation facilities, and to a healthy environment. All of the work is done in collaboration with community leaders and local authorities.

We are looking for 01 (One) qualified candidates to fill the position of Pipe Water Engineer based in Phnom Penh Office.

I.Main Responsibilities and Duties:

To work with department, institutions that have experiences on pipe water, mechanize borehole and hand pump.
Cooperate with other departments, institutions and NGOs that have experiences on pipe water system, mechanize borehole and hand pump in order to improve the existing systems.
To provide daily manage and monitor to all project plans so that the requirement from donor is fulfilled.
To provide technical training on hand pump facilities, pipe water and mechanize borehole to the water committees to ensure that they understand and use it properly with capacity of independently operate the water system.
To work alongside with technical partners on area selection, technical on pipe water and mechanized borehole and hand pump projects.
Working with teachers, authorities, church leaders, communities and water committee for monitoring pipe water, mechanize borehole and hand pump.
Work with CLEAR leaders to develop new approaches/methodology for clean water.
Other works as required by Line Manager.

II. Requirements:

Bachelor/Engineering degree of Water and Environmental or related fields.
Experience of community development and management.
Experience of pipe water system, hand pump and mechanized borehole.
Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point), e-mail and Internet.
Effective communication and facilitation skill.
Able to speak and write good English.
Commitment to Clear Cambodia’s core values and mission.
Good interpersonal skill, be patient and flexible.
Transparency/ Honesty / Integrity.
