JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Clear Cambodia is a Christian local NGO that has been implementing the projects under the aim of water and sanitation. The current mission is to help rural Cambodian citizens sustainably improve their health through increased access to safe water, sanitation facilities, and to a healthy environment. All of the work is done in collaboration with community leaders and local authorities. Presently, Clear Cambodia has implemented projects in eight provinces Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Banteay Meanchey, Oddar Meanchey, Siem Reap, Pursat, Steung Treng and Ratank Kiri.

We are looking for 01 (One) qualified candidates to fill the position of School WASH Technical Coordinator, based in Pursat province.

I. Main Responsibilities and Duties:

To work with School WASH Partnering Project Coordinator in developing schedule construction and filter maintenance training to committees.
To get orient on school filter installation from Sand Production team in Kampong Speu province.
To properly install water filter in schools.
To provide high quality education on School Filter or SBF to teachers and principals.
To prepare plan of action on monitoring and installation at field levels with cooperation from School WASH Partnering Project Coordinator.
Check quality constructions to ensure that all have been followed the design.
To work with School WASH Partnering Project Coordinator to understand on designs of all constructions.
Help monitoring school WASH and hand pump facilities after constructions to ensure that the requirement of donors is met in consultation with School WASH Partnering Project Coordinator.
To work with sand production team to get materials for school filter installation.
To work with teachers, authority and church leaders for construction monitoring.
Taking photos for Iform report and document for payment to contractor.

II. Requirements:

At least 2 years working on community development or related field.
At least finished secondary school.
Able to use computer micro soft Words and Excel.
Commitment to Clear Cambodia’s values and mission.
Must be willing to travel to remote targeted communities.
Must be willing to drive a motorbike on field visits.
Good interpersonal skill, be patient and flexible.
Transparency/ Honesty / Integrity.
Work independently and demonstrate the ability to multi-tasks.
